On what day of normal menstruation is ovulation?

Normally, a woman's menstrual cycle is about 28 days, but some people may have it a few days earlier or later. If a woman has a 28-day menstrual cycle, ovulation usually occurs on day 14 of her menstrual cycle. That is to say, on the 14th day of normal menstruation, a woman’s eggs begin to mature and wait for fertilization.

However, women with irregular menstrual cycles have difficulty accurately predicting when they will ovulate. Some women may begin to experience signs of increased sexual desire on day 10 or 15 of their menstrual cycle, but this is not necessarily accurate. Therefore, for women with irregular menstrual cycles, it is recommended to estimate their ovulation period by measuring body temperature, observing appetite and sexual desire, and recording menstrual cycles.

In addition to changes in menstrual cycles and sexual desire, there are other methods that can help women guess when they are ovulating. For example, women can start recording their body temperature on the 10th day of the menstrual cycle and observe changes in body temperature. If the body temperature rises above the normal range (usually 36.8°C), then this may mean that the woman's eggs are maturing.
