Is ovulation pain due to ovulation?

Although ovulation pain is a common physiological phenomenon, it is not true ovulation. In fact, true ovulation occurs on the 14th day of the menstrual cycle, not during the ovulation period. However, during ovulation, a woman's body produces a large number of eggs, so she may feel some discomfort, such as mild abdominal pain or discomfort. These discomforts usually go away after the eggs are released.

So while ovulation pain may be a common symptom that women experience during their cycle, it's not actually ovulation. If you experience discomfort during your cycle, it is recommended to consult a doctor to determine your health status.
