Does a weak positive mean ovulation?

Under normal circumstances, a woman's egg matures and is released in the ovary, and then is taken up by the fallopian tube and enters the uterus. If the woman is fertilized during this time, the fertilized egg will implant and develop in the fallopian tube until it matures and moves into the uterus ready to implant.

During ovulation, a woman's eggs become more active and more likely to be fertilized. Therefore, if a woman tests weakly positive, it most likely means she is ovulating. However, this does not guarantee that a woman is pregnant.

If a woman tests weakly positive, she should continue testing until she tests positive or strongly positive. If a woman tests weakly positive and is pregnant, she may need more tests to make sure the pregnancy is confirmed.
