Dark red blood clots during ovulation

Dark red blood clots are a common bleeding phenomenon, especially during ovulation. It is usually caused when the egg is released and combines with the sperm to form some tissue that remains in the uterus, causing blood to flow out. This condition usually occurs around a woman's ovulation period, usually in small amounts, but may last for a few days.

Although dark red blood clots are not a very serious problem, if they last for a long time or are in large numbers, they may have a certain impact on a woman's health. For example, it may cause anemia or other complications, requiring prompt treatment.

Treatment for dark red blood clots usually includes the use of hemostatic medications and an ultrasound. If bleeding-stopping medications don't solve the problem, your doctor may recommend surgery to remove remaining tissue and stop the bleeding.
