Human Health and Fertility: How to Calculate Ovulation

Calculation method

A woman's menstrual cycle usually lasts from 28 to 30 days, and ovulation usually occurs between the 14th and 16th days of the menstrual cycle. However, since everyone's cycle is different, calculating ovulation will also be different.

Here are some commonly used calculation methods:

1. Observe symptoms

Some women may experience symptoms such as fatigue, headaches, breast swelling, and protruding nipples during ovulation. These symptoms usually appear between days 14 and 16 of the menstrual cycle. However, these symptoms do not occur in every woman, so this approach is not suitable.

2. Measure body temperature

Measuring basal body temperature can help women calculate ovulation.
