Pain in left lower abdomen during intercourse during ovulation

What is ovulation?

Ovulation refers to the 14th day of a woman's menstrual cycle. On this day, a woman's body temperature will rise and eggs will be released. Eggs only live for about 1-2 days, and when they are excreted, the woman becomes pregnant.

Causes of left lower abdominal pain

Pain in the left lower abdomen can be caused by many different things. Here are some possible reasons for this:

1. Egg discharge: During the ovulation period, a woman’s egg is discharged from the ovary, which may stimulate the contraction of the uterine muscles, causing pain in the left lower abdomen.

2. Implantation of the fertilized egg: When the fertilized egg implants, it may also stimulate the contraction of the uterine muscles, causing pain in the left lower abdomen.

3. Inflammation: If a woman suffers from adnexal inflammation or other inflammatory diseases, it may cause pain in the left lower abdomen.

4. Planning a pregnancy: If women are planning a pregnancy but feel pain on the left side of their lower abdomen during ovulation, it may be because they are too nervous or anxious, or because of pain caused by the implantation of the fertilized egg.

Symptoms and treatment

If a woman feels pain in her left lower abdomen during ovulation, it usually does not seriously affect her daily life. However, if the pain is very severe, or if the pain is accompanied by other symptoms such as fever, vaginal bleeding, etc., then you should seek medical attention immediately.

Treatment for left lower abdominal pain may include:

1. Rest: During pain, women should rest more to avoid overexertion.

2. Medication: If the pain is mild, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSDs) can be used to relieve pain. However, if the pain is very severe and NSAIDs may not relieve symptoms, then other medications, such as pain relievers or hormone replacement therapy, should be considered.

3. Surgical treatment: If the pain is severe and cannot be relieved by medical treatment,
