Ovulation body temperature and pregnancy body temperature

Normally, a woman's body temperature changes at different times of the day. Generally speaking, a woman's body temperature is lowest in the morning when she wakes up and highest in the evening. This change in body temperature is due to the body requiring different amounts of energy and nutrients throughout the day to maintain normal physiological functions.

During ovulation, a woman's body temperature changes. Before ovulation, a woman's body temperature usually drops by 0.3 to 0.5 degrees Celsius as the ovaries begin to secrete eggs and the body begins to prepare for pregnancy. During ovulation, a woman's body temperature will rise again by 0.3 to 0.5 degrees Celsius. This is due to the combination of eggs and sperm to form fertilized eggs and implantation in the uterus. This process takes several days, so a woman's temperature changes usually last for several days.

Changes in body temperature during pregnancy are similar to changes in body temperature during ovulation. In the early stages of pregnancy, a woman's body temperature will rise because the implantation of the fertilized egg and the development of the embryo require a lot of energy and nutrients. During the third trimester, a woman's body temperature often drops due to the effects of fetal growth and uterine compression.

Although a woman's body temperature changes during her cycle, there is a close connection between changes in body temperature during pregnancy and changes in body temperature during ovulation. If a woman wants to become pregnant, it is recommended to measure her body temperature regularly and record changes in body temperature to better understand her physical condition and pregnancy status.
