There are many ways to calculate ovulation, the following are two of the more common methods:

Basal body temperature refers to the body temperature measured when you wake up in the morning and do not perform any activities. The calculation method is:

1. Measurement time: Usually starting from getting up in the morning, measurement lasts for at least 1 hour.

2. Measuring tools: Oral thermometer or electronic thermometer.

3. Measurement method: Place the thermometer on your tongue, wait 5 minutes, take the thermometer out of your tongue, and record the temperature value.

4. Basal body temperature value: Normal basal body temperature is 36.9°C~37.5°C.

Method 2: Calendar method

The calendar method refers to calculating the ovulation period based on a woman's menstrual cycle. Generally speaking, a woman's menstrual cycle is 28 days, so ovulation usually occurs between the 14th and 21st days of the cycle.

The calculation method is:

1. Cycle days: Calculate a woman’s cycle days, usually starting from the first day of menstruation to the first day of next menstruation.

2. The number of days in the middle of the cycle: Subtract 14 days from the number of days in the cycle to get the number of days in the middle of the cycle, that is, day 10 to day 14.

3. Mid-cycle date: Divide the number of days in the middle of the cycle by 2 to get the mid-cycle date, that is, day 7 to day 10.

4. Ovulation period: The middle date of the cycle plus 14 days is the ovulation period.

The above are two common methods of calculating ovulation. No matter which method you use, you need to carefully record your temperature and date to better understand your health status. If you have any questions, please consult your doctor or professional health advisor.
