Lower belly drops after ovulation

Ovulation refers to the time when a woman's eggs are released from the ovaries into the fallopian tubes. This time is usually during the day and is one of the most fertile times for women. However, when an egg is fertilized and a zygote is formed, it is a major change for a woman's body. After the fertilized egg implants, a woman's body begins to prepare for pregnancy, including a belly-drop reaction.

A sinking feeling in the lower abdomen usually manifests as a slight contraction and distension in the abdomen. This change may appear within a few days of ovulation and usually disappears within a week or so. Some people may feel it more noticeably, especially if they have just been fertilized or are expecting a pregnancy.

Although a sinking feeling in your belly is normal, if you feel unusually uncomfortable or have other symptoms such as pain, fever, vomiting, etc., it is recommended that you consult your doctor. If you are waiting to become pregnant, or have already experienced some health problems such as diarrhea, vomiting, headaches, etc., it is recommended that you seek treatment under the guidance of your doctor.
