Ovulation calculation

1. Period calculation method

The cycle calculation method is to calculate the ovulation period by calculating a woman's menstrual cycle. Generally, a woman's menstrual cycle lasts from 28 to 30 days, but individual women may experience longer or shorter cycles. To infer the ovulation period based on the menstrual cycle, the following formula can generally be derived:

Ovulation period = number of days in menstrual cycle - 14 days

For example, if a woman has a 28-day menstrual cycle, her ovulation period will be between days 15 and 21.

2. Body temperature measurement method

Thermometry is a method of inferring ovulation by measuring a woman's basal body temperature. Basal body temperature refers to the body temperature when a woman wakes up in the morning when her body is fully awake. Generally speaking, a woman's basal body temperature will continue during the high temperature period (about 36.8°C to 37.2°C) until the ovulation period. According to this formula, a woman’s ovulation period can be calculated:

Ovulation period = duration of hot period - 14 days

For example, if a woman's hot period lasts for 3 days, her ovulation period will be between days 2 and 5.

3. Calendar method

The calendar method infers ovulation by recording a woman's menstrual cycle and hot periods. Generally speaking, women’s monthly menstrual cycles have certain patterns, and ovulation can be inferred by recording the menstrual cycle and high temperature period. This method requires some patience and care, but is more accurate than other methods.

The above are several common calculation methods. Women can choose the method that suits them according to their own situation to infer the ovulation period. At the same time, women should also perform appropriate exercise and dietary adjustments during the ovulation period to improve sperm quantity and quality.
