Left ovary pain during ovulation

Left ovarian pain usually occurs a few days before ovulation, especially when it starts to feel like your period is coming. This pain is usually mild, with a stabbing or dull ache, and usually does not require special treatment. However, if the pain is too severe or lasts too long, it may affect a woman's normal work and life.

Some women may experience left ovarian pain related to their period. During your period, eggs are released from the ovaries and some inflammatory reaction may occur. This inflammatory response may cause pain in the left ovary, especially in the days after your period. However, if the pain is not caused by your period, there may be other causes to consider.

For women with certain medical conditions, such as ovarian chocolate cysts or ovarian tumors, pain in the left ovary may also be a symptom. If the pain lasts for a long time or is accompanied by other symptoms, such as fever, nausea, vomiting, etc., it is recommended to seek medical attention as soon as possible.
