Left ovarian cyst during ovulation

A left ovarian cyst usually refers to a type of cyst that grows in the left ovary. This cyst may be caused by inflammation, tumors, or other factors. They usually cause no symptoms but may affect a woman's reproductive function.

In women who are not pregnant, ovarian cysts on the left side may affect their menstruation and fertility. Some patients may experience symptoms such as pain on one side of the abdomen, bloating, and a feeling of distension. These symptoms may interfere with their daily lives but will not necessarily lead to pregnancy.

For pregnant women, ovarian cysts on the left side may affect their pregnancy. The cyst may compress the fallopian tube, making it difficult for the fertilized egg to implant or the fertilized egg to move smoothly, thus affecting the development of the fetus. In some cases, the cyst may rupture, causing bleeding and pain.
