Leucorrhea is not stringy during ovulation
What is string drawing?
Stringing phenomenon refers to the ovulation period in a woman's menstrual cycle. The vaginal secretions will become thin, filamentous or thread-like, and may be stretched very long. This symptom usually appears after a woman releases her egg and lasts for 2-3 days.
Why does stringing sometimes occur?
Sometimes stringing may occur due to one of the following reasons:
1. Inflammation: If a woman suffers from vaginal inflammation, stringing may occur. In this case, the vaginal discharge becomes thin and may contain bacteria.
2. Hormone changes: During different stages of a woman’s menstrual cycle, hormones in the body will change, which may also lead to stringing. For example, during the middle of the menstrual cycle, a woman's estrogen levels increase, which may make vaginal discharge become thinner.
3. Medications: Certain medications may cause string pulling in women, such as antidepressants and antibiotics.
Is the drawing phenomenon normal?
Although stringing is normal during the ovulation period of a woman's menstrual cycle, sometimes it may affect a woman's normal life. For example, if a woman frequently feels uncomfortable or has concerns, she should seek the advice of a doctor.
Different causes of stringing
In addition to string pulling itself, there are other reasons why women may feel confused and uneasy, such as:
1. Cycle abnormalities: Some women may experience cycle abnormalities, which may prevent them from experiencing stringing during ovulation.
2. Disease: Some diseases, such as vaginal inflammation or ovarian disease, may prevent women from experiencing string pulling.
3. Medication: Certain medications may cause string drawing in women.
