Can I get pregnant on the day of ovulation?

During the sperm phase, a woman’s ovary releases a mature egg. If a woman encounters healthy sperm on this day, fertilization and the formation of a fertilized egg are possible. The fertilized egg then travels to the uterus, where it implants and develops into a fetus.

However, sometimes women don't show obvious signs of menstruation on day 14 of their menstrual cycle, which may mean they haven't reached the egg stage yet. In this case, a woman may start looking for eggs on day 15 of her menstrual cycle, but not necessarily on that day.

So, to be clear, egg stage is not the only factor in determining whether pregnancy will occur. Other factors, such as a woman's menstrual cycle, sperm quantity and quality, and a man's health, also affect the likelihood of pregnancy.

If women have not reached the egg stage by day 14 of their menstrual cycle, they start looking at their eggs on day 15 of their menstrual cycle. If a woman encounters healthy sperm on this day, fertilization and pregnancy are possible. But if a woman misses the opportunity to see an egg, or encounters unhealthy sperm, the likelihood of pregnancy decreases.

If women have not reached the egg cell stage by the 14th day of the menstrual cycle, they need to start observing the egg cells on the 15th day of the menstrual cycle. If a woman encounters healthy sperm on this day, fertilization and pregnancy are possible.
