Why not get pregnant during ovulation?

While many factors can affect the accuracy and success of pregnancy, ovulation is an important one. A woman's eggs can survive in the fallopian tubes for hours or even days after they are released from the ovaries. This means that even during ovulation, if a woman does not encounter sperm, the egg may have died or been expelled out of the fallopian tube.

Another factor that can affect pregnancy is sperm quantity and quality. Although a woman's ovaries can produce a large number of eggs, each egg can only be fertilized by one sperm. Therefore, if a woman's sperm is low in quantity or of poor quality, they may not be able to bind to an egg cell, resulting in a failed pregnancy.

In addition, other factors such as age, health, lifestyle, and stress may affect the accuracy and success of pregnancy. So even if women are ovulating, they may not be able to get pregnant if they don't take appropriate steps to ensure sperm encounters them.
